  • layout and nothing new…

I really need to make a new layout for my website but everything I’ve done, i’ll look at it and delete it.  Maybe I need to just keep this up until I am content with something else.  This weekend has definitely been a lazy one since I have it completely off.  I did do my writing and math homework.  Tomorrow im going to start on my essay #3 and Spanish work.  I don’t even want to talk about Spanish….I failed the midterm terribly.  I blanked in the middle of it and couldn’t for the hell of me think of the words.

I really need to also get to work on a new layout for Donovan’s website because he is getting on me about that lol.  I’ve been so busy with work and school.  I definitely can’t wait until I go on winter break.  Im thinking of possibly taking a semester off but im not sure yet because I need my financial aid money.  So we will see.

Donovan is cooking so im going to eat soon and then maybe go plug my website at a few places and work out a layout for him.  We will see what im really up to.  Don’t forget to click the ads and leave a comment for affiliates.

    just a little rant…
posted on: October 26, 2011 » Comments Off
I was reading through some articles while trying to find a debate topic for my third essay in my writing class and I came across one dealing with Teen Pregnancy which is a topic most people dread and hate. This article sent me into a rage and I was furious with it. Of course it is their opinion but to me, it is completely irate and incorrect. It is posted on the “SIRS database” and without having a password and subscription you can’t access it. So I will post a few things they said that made me a little angry because me, being a young mom at the age of nineteen and now thriving in school and my work, I don’t believe every young mom falls into this category.

“Teenage pregnancy has serious consequences for the mother, the child and society in general. Teenage pregnancy frequently leads to limited future prospects for many teen mothers who are unable to complete high school. Adolescents who have babies are also more prone to health problems and experience a maternal death rate 2.5 times higher than women aged 20-24. Many children born to teenage mothers suffer from low birth weight and other related health problems, with a large proportion of them having insufficient health insurance. Children of teen parents often receive inadequate care because teens are rarely able to provide the nurturing and stimulation required by infants for normal development.” is an excerpt from this article. So I am not plagiarizing, I will post a link to the article but most of you, if not all won’t be able to access it unless you are registered. At Issue: Teen Pregnancy

Yeah some of this may be correct for some people but how do you know it was the cause of the mother having a baby young and not just because her body can’t have kids or carry them right? My daughter NEVER missed a doctors appointment and has never missed a vaccination. My daughter has a speech problem that she inherited from her father and she gets help for that because I want my daughter to thrive like me. I am not going to hold back on her care because I am young and stupid and had a kid at such a young age. To me this just makes me angry. To you, you may see some good in it but unless you have gone through a pregnancy at a young age, you have no room to talk  .
