Debit cards
posted on: March 4, 2012 » 1 cmt
Okay you are probably like why did she post a title debit cards, well it actually happened to me where someone was making fraudulent purchases on my card. The weird part is, I had my debit card on me at all times. $174 worth of things I didn’t authorize and it all started happening January 25th and of course I didn’t notice until I got my bank statement and went to balance my checkbook. I immediately started crying and called the 24/7 line to cancel my debit card. The next day I went to my bank to let them know what was going on and at the time I had all the purchases tallied up and everything but there was two more purchases that didn’t clear when I went to I yet again had to call them to let them know. I called the police the same day to file a police report and I also went to the bank ATM to make sure my card was cancelled and it was because it said unauthorized usage and ate it, which was good and what I wanted it to do. I went and signed the papers, 24 pages worth, and they had to send it to their dispute department. Now it’s just a waiting game. They have 10-15 days to investigate and they can take up to 35 days, the lady also informed me that I couldn’t get reissued a debit card until they are done, that makes for a harder life, let me tell you. Who writes checks at stores anymore? That was so embarrassing  . They said also since one of the ATM’s used was a QD one, they are going to contact MSU credit union and obtain video footage to see who it was. If it’s someone I know I told them I want to press charges because I don’t play that. I work hard for my money and expect whoever it is to respect that. So I updated my checkbook with the amount I have NOW until I get the credit back to my account because I don’t want to overdraw my account because I think I have $174 extra when I don’t until it’s all over. Christmas and potty training!
posted on: January 2, 2012 » Comments Off
So much for updating on my break from school huh? Lol sorry about that I have just been busy with working constantly and taking care of my baby girl. I am proud to say she is finally potty trained after a struggle lol. She one morning woke up and went potty on the toilet and not she is going potty by herself with one accident or none a day and I am so proud of her. She gets excited every time she goes potty on the big girl toilet because we always cheer her on. I, of course wrote a letter for her teacher for when she goes back to school tomorrow to let them know they have to remind her if she has to go potty because as far as in school, she can’t just get up and go to the restroom, she will have to have someone take her. At home if she has to go she just goes to the bathroom and goes….so I am worried to see how school goes. Obviously have to send 1-2 pairs of undies with her and extra clothes just in case.

On another note, I had a pretty good Christmas. This was the first year that Nana was excited to open presents and everything. She said “MAMA LOOK” before she even ripped off the wrapping paper, lol. It was pretty cute. I’m going to post pictures at the end of this post. Let’s just say, my child is spoiled with how much toys she has and she got even more for Christmas lol. Donovan got a lot of presents from me and then he got me a few. My mom bought me three new pairs of work pants and I definitely needed them!! I have had the same pairs of pants since I started JCPenney, 4 years ago!

Donovan has an interview tomorrow for a nice job and then he might have a job at the post office and I am excited because I won’t be worried about money or anything because he’ll have a good job and be able to pay bills and not worry about if they are going to take his hours away or if he’ll even get a paycheck. Well I really don’t have much else to say so I am going to go lay on the couch and watch TV with my family and maybe take a nap or browse the internet  . So here are some pictures for you to enjoy!

Busy life

So I decided I’m going to go ahead and write a post while I’m at work on lunch, so I can just hit the post button when I get home because after work I’m going to have to run some errands and do my Spanish homework and maybe even start my last essay for my writing class and start editing my essays I want to put in my portfolio.  Let me tell you I cannot wait until this semester is over because I will be completely done with Math and Writing.  Next semester is going to be a fun one for me because I’m taking graphic design courses for my major and then I’m also taking a communication class to get that core out of the way.

Arianna got her school pictures back and they are cute but my little boomer didn’t smile for the camera.  I also had parent-teacher conferences and they were pleased with her progress on her speech and listening skills.  She is not used to an actual structured environment where you have to sit for periods at a time and can’t get up until told to do so.  So when she first started school it was hard for her…they said she is getting better though.

I really don’t have much else to say…I actually didn’t post this yesterday when I wrote it, lol sorry. I am going to go and get Arianna on the bus and leave for work. Can’t wait to get home and finish up some Spanish homework and sleep!
