[EDIT:] I will update probably next week…school is almost over and it is finals and projects left and right that I have to get ready for. School ends around May 4th. So expect more updates after that…sorry! [/EDIT]

I suck at updating especially during school semesters! I have been so busy with last minute school stuff since school is over May 4th or sometime around there so there are last minute projects and what nots going on. I have on class done for this week and another almost done, then I have two more I need to finish up but I needed to take a break and write a post because I have been meaning to but keep getting distracted! Let me just say I absolutely love my new desktop computer, it runs like a charm and doesn’t freeze up and I am just in love LOL! I probably will end up putting a to do list on my sidebar so that every time I visit my website I can be reminded of what I have left to do! Anyways…I am in the process of trying to find out how to file a complaint against the police officer I had a problem with in my post below because another thing happened that was way out of line and bare with me while I tell you my story and rant and rave about it. Lots of stuff has been going on right now. You know how I wrote the story below about my debit card? Well the bank is refusing to issue me another debit card unless police pull cameras and I press charges. So I in turn, called the police because I DO want to press charges but the cop immediately starts pointing fingers and accusing my boyfriend after he asked if he was black or white! I was thinking, the audacity this dude has to ask that question in the first place and right after that to start pointing fingers. So I said “Ok, if it is him then I want to press charges.” He goes “Well it’d be your word against his.” THEN PULL THE DAMN CAMERAS LIKE I AM ASKING! Wtf. (….)

Debit cards

Okay you are probably like why did she post a title debit cards, well it actually happened to me where someone was making fraudulent purchases on my card. The weird part is, I had my debit card on me at all times. $174 worth of things I didn’t authorize and it all started happening January 25th and of course I didn’t notice until I got my bank statement and went to balance my checkbook. I immediately started crying and called the 24/7 line to cancel my debit card. The next day I went to my bank to let them know what was going on and at the time I had all the purchases tallied up and everything but there was two more purchases that didn’t clear when I went to I yet again had to call them to let them know. I called the police the same day to file a police report and I also went to the bank ATM to make sure my card was cancelled and it was because it said unauthorized usage and ate it, which was good and what I wanted it to do. I went and signed the papers, 24 pages worth, and they had to send it to their dispute department. Now it’s just a waiting game. They have 10-15 days to investigate and they can take up to 35 days, the lady also informed me that I couldn’t get reissued a debit card until they are done, that makes for a harder life, let me tell you. Who writes checks at stores anymore? That was so embarrassing  . They said also since one of the ATM’s used was a QD one, they are going to contact MSU credit union and obtain video footage to see who it was. If it’s someone I know I told them I want to press charges because I don’t play that. I work hard for my money and expect whoever it is to respect that. So I updated my checkbook with the amount I have NOW until I get the credit back to my account because I don’t want to overdraw my account because I think I have $174 extra when I don’t until it’s all over. just a little rant…

I was reading through some articles while trying to find a debate topic for my third essay in my writing class and I came across one dealing with Teen Pregnancy which is a topic most people dread and hate. This article sent me into a rage and I was furious with it. Of course it is their opinion but to me, it is completely irate and incorrect. It is posted on the “SIRS database” and without having a password and subscription you can’t access it. So I will post a few things they said that made me a little angry because me, being a young mom at the age of nineteen and now thriving in school and my work, I don’t believe every young mom falls into this category.

“Teenage pregnancy has serious consequences for the mother, the child and society in general. Teenage pregnancy frequently leads to limited future prospects for many teen mothers who are unable to complete high school. Adolescents who have babies are also more prone to health problems and experience a maternal death rate 2.5 times higher than women aged 20-24. Many children born to teenage mothers suffer from low birth weight and other related health problems, with a large proportion of them having insufficient health insurance. Children of teen parents often receive inadequate care because teens are rarely able to provide the nurturing and stimulation required by infants for normal development.” is an excerpt from this article. So I am not plagiarizing, I will post a link to the article but most of you, if not all won’t be able to access it unless you are registered. At Issue: Teen Pregnancy

Yeah some of this may be correct for some people but how do you know it was the cause of the mother having a baby young and not just because her body can’t have kids or carry them right? My daughter NEVER missed a doctors appointment and has never missed a vaccination. My daughter has a speech problem that she inherited from her father and she gets help for that because I want my daughter to thrive like me. I am not going to hold back on her care because I am young and stupid and had a kid at such a young age. To me this just makes me angry. To you, you may see some good in it but unless you have gone through a pregnancy at a young age, you have no room to talk  .
